Accessibilities
The AASWVA District 13 Accessibilities Committee helps to coordinate the flow of information between the Virginia Area, District
Committees and the Groups related to carrying the message to alcoholics who may experience physical disabilities, chronic illness, deafness, hearing impairments, blindness, vision impairments, limited access to easy-to-read literature or audio materials, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or language or other communication barriers. Our aim is to work with other committees to help inform the public, service agencies, treatment centers, hospitals, correctional facilities, groups and/or AA members, of these efforts to make AA accessible to everyone, including those who may have diverse needs. Please reach out if you have questions or accommodation requests.
